Halex's newest facility is located near Melbourne, Australia and manufactures and distributes Halex products throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Southern Asia.

The Halex Technical center is the only one of its kind in the flooring industry. Trained Technical Staff use a variety of sophisticated laboratory equipment to measure the properties of plywood and nails. The equipment is used to evaluate new materials, examine competitive products and measure the performance of HALEX products to recognized international standards like those of the American Plywood Association (APA), the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the Canada Standards Association (CSA).
